The hearing on a petition filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against the Former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanithi Maran in the Aircel-Maxis case has been adjourned by the till October 1.
The hearing was adjourned as the CBI has sought some more time to file further information in the court.
The court is expected to hear the appeal of both the investigation agencies challenging the discharge of Maran brothers and other accused in the case.
The Maran brothers are accused of helping a Malaysian group ‘Maxis’ acquire ‘Aircel’ to the tune of Rs. 700 crores.
