AQI in Delhi-NCR continues to be in ‘severe’ category

The air pollution in Delhi-NCR remained in the ‘severe’ category. The overall AQI for Delhi is 552 at 12.30 pm. It is being noticed that even after the implementation of the odd-even scheme by AAP the category of air pollution remains the same even on the third consecutive day.

Currently, the AQI at Pusa is 606, Lodhi Road is 571, Delhi University is 554, IGI Terminal 3 is 564, Noida is 579, Mathura Road is 589, Ayanagar is 544, IIT Delhi is 630, Dhirpur is 509, Chandni Chowk is 495 and Gurugram is 731.

According to the System of Air Quality Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), AQI (0-50) is ‘Good’, AQI (51-100) is ‘Satisfactory’, AQI (101-200) is ‘Moderate’, AQI (201-300) is ‘Poor’, AQI (301-400) is ‘Very Poor’ and, AQI (401-500).
