BJP president Amit Shah visited Kerala last week. On this tour he focused on strengthening his base in the state. He met various party members and volunteers of RSS. He met the family of RSS workers who were allegedly killed by Left. During this he also cleared the stance of his party regarding Sabrimala temple entry issue. He said that his party is standing behind Ayyappa devotees like a rock and will not let government to use force. Alongside his rallies an important person joined the party. Former ISRO Chief G Madhvan Nair has officially joined BJP. This happens just before the Lok Sabha elections. These inroads will also help BJP to become a big player in the state by the time of next Assembly elections in 2021.
