Brazil has a new President Jair Bolsonaro

Jair Bolsonaro becomes the President of Brazil.
Jair won 55.1% votes whereas his opponent Fernando Haddad won 44.9% votes.
Jair was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He belongs to half Italian descent. He joined the Brazilian army and got promoted to the rank of Captain. In 1986 he dissented against his senior military officers on the issue of firing military personnel to cut the budget. Later in 1988 he joined politics and became a councillor. In his three decades of political life he has changed several political parties. In the presidential elections he is the candidate from PSL (Social Liberal Party). With his arrival in the party major ideological changes came into play. The party has become far right on social front and economic liberalisation is now being advocated by the party.
Jair Bolsonaro has shown enormous inclination towards United States of America and Israel. This is going to affect the dynamics of BRICS. He is also known as Trump of Tropics because of his radically conservative view and his outspoken attitude.
