Court puts stay on a non-bailable warrant issued against Kejriwal, Sisodia and Yadav

On Wednesday, the non-bailable warrant (NBW) issued against the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Swaraj India president Yogendra Yadav was put on a stay by a Rouse Avenue court in connection to a defamation case.

The complaint was filed by a lawyer Surender Sharma against the leaders.

Kejriwal’s lawyer appraised the court that the CM and his Deputy had been allowed permanent exemption.

The court also said that it would hear the matter of cancellation of the warrants on Wednesday.

The petitioner had pleaded that his candidature from Aam Aadmi Party

April 29 is set as the next date of hearing by the court.
