Union Minister Giriraj Singh has yet again attracted controversy on his social media post on the ‘World Population Day’. He posted that India is suffering from a “population explosion” and further linked it to religion.
The Union Minister posted his views through his Twitter account stating that the population explosion is disturbing social harmony and balance in the country.
His post in Hindi translates as, “The population explosion economy in India is disturbing the balance of social harmony and resources. Religious disruption to population control is also one of the reasons why Hindustan is moving towards cultural division on the lines of ’47. All political parties have to come forward for a population control law.”
