The T20I match between India and Bangladesh in Delhi will proceed as planned said the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) president Saurav Ganguly.
On being asked whether the match between India and Bangladesh will go as scheduled, Ganguly said, “Yes, it will”. The question came due to the deteriorating conditions of air quality in Delhi dropped down to the ‘severe’ category at various places. Following this, many had urged the BCCI to change the match location from Delhi.
Current BJP MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir said that the problem faced by the locals of Delhi due to pollution is of much higher concern than a cricket match and the citizens of the capital should focus more on it.
