Hours after the catastrophe, the Delhi government requested a test into the fire and looked for a point by point report inside seven days.
“It is a tragic episode. I have requested an authoritative investigation into it. Remuneration Rs 10 lakhs each to be given to groups of those dead and Rs 1 lakh each to those harmed. The cost of therapeutic treatment of those harmed to be borne by the administration,” Delhi boss priest Arvind Kejriwal said subsequent to visiting the site of the mishap.
