AP: Second level warning for Krishna river, Godavari water level stable as of now

On Saturday Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management (APSDMA) informed that the second level warning continues for Krishna river water levels whereas the water of Godavari river has started to fall.

According to SDMA reports, inflow and outflow of Krishna river at the Prakasam barrage in Vijaywada are equally 821,250 cusecs.

Districts including Guntur, Kurnool, and Krishna are being kept on high alert.

All precautionary measures are in place and the situation is said to be under control. Moreover, APSDMA has kept officials of NDRF, SDRF and Fire Services on alert if in case any discrepancies creep in.

The Godavari river flood water has turned stable after entering Bhadrachalam, Chintur, Kunavaram, and Polavaram.

At the Dowlaiswaram barrage, inflow and outflow are equally 7,91,412 cusecs. Reports of increasing floodwater in the East Godavari districts have kept the officials on alert.
